Radiographic Testing
This course course prepares students for our certification examinations and provides students with the history, theory, and practical knowledge needed to become a Radiographic Testing Inspector. This course will also prepare the inspector to perform Level I and Level II radiographic testing.
Topics covering both level I and Level II sections include: essential and ethical duties of the Radiographic Testing Inspector, history and present state of radiography, physics of radiography, equipment and materials, Techniques and Calibrations, and advanced techniques.
Additional topics that will be covered in Level II only include radiation safety, defectology, codes (specifications, standards, and procedures), and recording and interpretation of results.
Radiation
Safety
This course is taken in combination with our Radiographic Testing course. Completion of this course is required in order to perform radiographic testing.
Some of the topics covered include: fundamentals of radiation and radioactivity, radiation dose limits and ALARA, personnel monitoring, access controls and postings, emergency and spill procedures, contamination control, employee responsibilities, as well as radiation safety equipment.


Liquid Penetrant Testing
This course prepares students for our certification examinations and provides them with the history, theory, and practical knowledge to become a Liquid Penetrant Testing Inspector.
This course will prepare the inspector to perform Level I and Level II Liquid Penetrant testing responsibilities. Topics covered include both level I and Level II sections: Essential and ethical duties of the Liquid Penetrant Testing Inspector, history and present state of Liquid Penetrant Testing, Principles of Penetrant Testing, Penetrant Materials, Methods and Techniques, Quality and Process Control, and Penetrant characteristics.
Additional topics that will be covering in Levell II only include defect-ology, Codes (specifications, standards, and procedures) as they apply to Liquid Penetrant Testing, and interpretation of results.
Magnetic Particle Testing
This course provides students with the history, theory, practical knowledge to become a Magnetic Particle Testing Inspector, which will ultimately prepare them to sit for our certification examinations.
This course will prepare the inspector to perform Level I and Level II Magnetic Particle testing responsibilities. Topics covering include both level I and Level II sections: Essential and ethical duties of the Magnetic Particle Testing Inspector, History and Present State of Magnetic Particle Testing, Physics of Magnetism, Equipment and Materials, Testing Practices, Process Control, and Interpretation of Indications.

Ultrasonic
Testing
This course prepares students for our certification examinations and provides them with the history, theory, and practical knowledge to become a Liquid Penetrant Testing Inspector.
This course will prepare the inspector to perform Level I and Level II Liquid Penetrant testing responsibilities. Testing
This course course prepares students for our certification examinations and provides students with the history, theory, and practical knowledge needed to become Visual Testing Inspector.
This course will also prepare the inspector to perform Level I and Level II visual testing. Topics covering both level I and Level II sections include: essential and ethical duties of the Visual Testing Inspector, history and present state of visual testing, equipment and materials, Techniques and Calibrations, and advanced techniques.
Additional topics that will be covered in Level II only include defectology, codes (specifications, standards, and procedures), and recording and interpretation of results.
